I had so much fun creating these Mason Jar Spices. This is a great way to store spices because you can easily get a measuring spoon into the jar which is great for cooking. I also love that you can see the beautiful color and texture of each unique spice!

SUPPLIES I USED
Free SVG File - (Click here to download)
1/2 Pint size Mason Jars - I used these
White Vinyl - Got it from Amazon here
Transfer Tape - I use this stuff
Spices - I love to get mine from the bulk section at my local grocery store. (Winco) I get a ton of spices for very little when I buy them this way. They are good quality spices too.
Here is the Cricut Cutting Machine that I use. I have had it over 3 years and use it almost everyday with my Etsy business and I LOVE IT!!! I also love that it's GOLD!
Here is a link to the Font I used just in case you want to make your own custom spice name.
Step One:
Download the SVG files and then upload them into your cutting software. I choose to cut each label 3 inches wide. This gave me the look I was going for on this size of jar. If you choose the file that allows you to cut them all at once, just make it 11.5 inches wide in your software and that will cut each label at just about 3 inches.
Step Two:
Once your vinyl is cut weed out the excess vinyl. I then choose to cut them apart so I had smaller pieces to work with. You can see this in the video I have below.
Step Three:
Use your transfer tape to transfer the design onto the jars. This can also be seen in the video below.
Step Four:
Fill your jars with the proper spices and enjoy your colorful creation!!!
Future Project:
In the future I plan to add magnets to the tops of my jars and hang them from the bottom of my cabinet. We still have lots of work to do in our kitchen so it will be a few months before I can do that but I can't wait to see how it all turns out. Stay tuned for the big reveal!!!
