I cannot believe my sweet Charly is already one month old! Man when they said that time flies with little ones they sure were right. Slow down already!
I have seen these cute milestone blankets all over Pinterest and with a price tag ranging anywhere from $35-60 I decided it was a good opportunity to whip out my Cricut equipment and get crafting! Check out the video below to see how I made it. It was such an easy project and I love how it turned out!

Supplies and Equipment
White Muslin Blanket - I just used one I had on hand. You could use any color of blanket or fabric you'd like.
Heat Transfer Vinyl - I love this vinyl! It's a bit thicker than the Siser easy-weed vinyl so make sure to do a test cut first so that you have your machine set to the correct depth. Once you have the depth correct I think that it weeds much smoother that any other brand of vinyl I've tried. Plus it's much less expensive so win-win!
Teflon Sheets - These have been well worth the money and they do a great job of protecting your iron and your material.
Cricut EasyPress - This was the first time I have used my new heat press and I'm in love!!! I love how portable and lightweight it is. I also felt like it heated up and pressed the Heat Transfer vinyl just as will as my large bulky heat press.
Cricut Explore - I have loved this tool! I has been so much fun!
Free Cut Files - Click the link and head over to my dropbox to download the files. You do not need dropbox in order to download the files. Just click the link and in the top right hand corner you will click the download button. Enjoy!
Obviously not all the shots were perfect! It took quite a few before I got one with her happy. She doesn't really like to lay on her back unless she's sleeping.
Part of her was moving and blurry in most of the pictures. But that's ok! It will be good to look back on the ones with her crying and moving to help me remember what she was really like at this stage.
