Planning for a wedding can be super expensive and stressful. However, if you are willing to do a few things yourself you can literally save a fortune! Check out these cute cupcakes I made that would be perfect for bridal shower, bachelorette party, or even a wedding reception. If you are trying to save an extra penny these are the perfect cupcakes for your event! They are so easy to make that you could even assign your Maid-of-honor or Mother-in-law the task of whipping up a couple of batches of these for your event!

Here is everything you need to create these delectable treats!
Cupcakes - You can make them from scratch or use a cake mix. Either way they will be great and I doubt anyone will notice if you use a mix! If you want to check out the recipe I used here's the link.
Cream Cheese Frosting - Here's the recipe I used... but remember store bought works great too!
Also if you don't have time to make them grab some from the grocery store and just add the cute wrappers and toppers. This will still save you money and will look like you got them from a fancy bakery!

If you want to help me continue to create posts like this you can also purchase the designs in my Etsy shop HERE! I also have lots of other fun cut files that are great for tea towels, pillows, wood signs, and so much more!
First you will want to make your cupcakes and frost them.

Now that they are all frosted they just need decorated! You will want to cut out the cupcake wrappers and toppers with your Cricut or Silhoutte machine. I currently have the Cricut Explore Air and I'm in love! I've had it about 2 year now and i use it almost everyday! The things you can create with it are endless. Check it out HERE. (I have the gold edition because they had a deal on it when I was buying, the gold ones seem to be way over priced now, about $100 more than the teal one. I would just get the regular color or even the new matte black one if you in the market.)

When cutting out the cupcake wrappers they should upload into the software right at the perfect size for your cupcakes. You can adjust them if your doing bigger or smaller cupcakes. I would test cut one just to make sure they are the size your wanting. If you have a time issue I would not recommend using the lace looking design it takes quite a bit of time to get all the little pieces out of the wrapper.
Next, you will tape or glue a toothpick to the toppers...

Now that everything's made just decorate!

I hope you like this post and it gave you a fun idea for adding a bit of frugality to your big day!
